Honouring menarche as a rite of passage through celebration, cyclical awareness, and community.
Threshold Ritual offers supportive spaces for girls and the women who walk alongside them as they navigate the threshold of menarche together.
Rooted in the understanding that menarche is more than a biological event, this work honours a girl’s first bleed as an important life threshold — one that can shape her relationship with her body, cycle, rest, self-worth, and inner world for years to come.
I facilitate mother-and-daughter celebration experiences inspired by Celebration Day for Girls, creating warm and supportive spaces where girls approaching menarche can feel informed, affirmed, and celebrated.
Through storytelling, open conversation, reflection, and shared experience, these gatherings encourage:
cyclical awareness and body literacy
self-care practices and rest
intergenerational connection
positive and supported experiences of menstruation
a sense of belonging and community
At the heart of this work is the belief that when girls are witnessed, supported, and held in community during this threshold, it can positively shape their relationship with themselves and their cycles for years to come.
My own experience of mothering alongside perimenopause has deepened my understanding of how important it is for girls and women to feel seen, supported, and connected through these transitions.
With a professional background in coaching and facilitation, I bring a grounded and compassionate approach to creating spaces that are reflective, welcoming, and transformative.
An Invitation
Threshold Ritual offers an invitation to approach menarche not with shame or silence, but with openness, community, and care.
If you are interested in Celebration Days, mother-and-daughter spaces, or supporting girls through this important threshold, I would love to hear from you.
