Friday Morning Yoga

A small, beginner-friendly yoga class at The Shed, shaped by the season, the moon and the rhythms of the body.

There is a lot that asks us to keep going. Yoga gives us a chance to pause, pay attention and come back to the body.

These classes are inspired by my training and practice in the Iyengar tradition, alongside my work with women's cyclical wisdom. We will work with systematic sequences of asana, building strength and stability, restoring energy and responding to the needs of the body.

The practice will also be shaped by the season, the moon and our own inner cycles. At some points we may work more dynamically and at others the practice will be quieter and more restorative.

The aim isn't to follow a fixed formula, but to develop awareness — noticing what is happening within us and allowing the practice to respond.

The first five-week block

Fridays · 9.30–10.45am

8 January – 5 February 2027

£60 for all five sessions

Two reduced-rate places at £30 for the full five sessions

Maximum 6 women

The class is suitable for beginners and takes place at The Shed, my garden studio in Ipswich. The exact address will be shared when you book.

The small group means there is space to work carefully, ask questions and develop your practice over the five weeks.

My approach

My yoga teaching is grounded in many years of training and practice in the Iyengar tradition. Before moving to Ipswich, I taught at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of South London, including restorative and remedial classes.

Alongside this foundation, I'm interested in how yoga can respond to the changing rhythms of women's lives.

We will work with the body that arrives on the mat that day. The practice may be adapted according to energy, capacity and any individual concerns, while maintaining the structure and intelligence of the asana practice.

For me, cyclical practice isn't about following a fixed set of rules. It's about developing awareness — noticing what is happening within us and allowing the practice to respond.

Come as you are.
